Thank you for visiting our honeymoon registry and wedding website. We are really looking forward to our dream honeymoon in Italy. We will be spending three days in Venice, three days in Florence and Tuscany, and four days in Rome. We are actually leaving both of our computers at home!!!

We feel incredibly blessed to have such a loving family and wonderful friends to celebrate our wedding with.

Our tour begins with an excursion through one of the most characteristic regions of Tuscany, famous around the world for its wine and the unequalled charm of its countryside. Great patches of woods and vast open spaces filled with vine trees and olive groves are dotted with Romanesque churches, farmhouses, villas and castles of exquisite beauty. Our tour includes a visit to one of several places of historic and artistic interest in an authentic Tuscan village. Also included on the tour is a visit to a renowned area farm where guests will partake in a wine tasting, and be offered a sampling of local cuisine.

We will tour through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside towards the historic university city of Pisa. Together, we'll take the panoramic drive along the Arno embankments, visit the Piazza dei Miracoli famous for the celebrated Leaning Tower, and unequalled masterpieces of Romanesque art carried out between the 11th and 12th centuries. This will be a great honeymoon day!

Tuscan Wine Tasting

Okay, we plan to taste a lot of wine! We will spend a pleasant afternoon in a charming place, with an expert sommelier, tasting and discussing the wines of the Tuscan region. The aim of our course is to reveal the best ways for one to appreciate a goblet of wine using sight, smell and taste. All of the senses must be involved for us to capture the full experience of the wine. We will be provided with descriptions of the wine, its territory of origin, the growing process, wine making techniques, the times required in the cellar, and the importance of using an appropriate glass. We will taste 4 fine wines provided by select Tuscan producers; while Italian salami, breads and focaccia (flat seasoned breads) are served.

Strolling through narrow streets, led by a guide, you will suddenly emerge on majestic St Mark's Square: the hub of the city. Byzantine in heritage, it was the political and monumental centre of the ancient Venetian republic: from these palaces Venice one dominated the seas. Visit of the Basilica containing St Mark's Tomb and dazzling gold mosaics. Next door is the exquisite pink and white marble Doge's Palace, where the elected Doges lived and governed. Its beautiful courtyard leads to magnificently decorated chambers. It is linked by the famous Bridge of Sighs to the Piombi prison: you will be able to cross over to take a glimpse of the accommodation reserved to its guests through the centuries (such as Casanova!) Back into 'Europe's grandest drawing-room', close to the Bell Tower and Clock Tower, you will see a demonstration of Venetian glass-blowing.
